Aquisition of RGS Nordic marks the starts of a new construction and demolition waste recycling division
2024
C.C. Umwelt and the IBA processing and aggregates division of BPG rebranded into Blue Phoenix.
2023
DGT (UK) and Stratego (DE) are rebranded into the QR Metals portfolio.
2022
Expansion into Australia, as Perth plant is expected to become operational in 2024.

R&D project, CEMPR is created and gets approval for demo IBA Filler plant.

Acquired C.C. Gruppe, a major player in the German IBA processing market.

QR Metals is dedicated to the refinery of recovered ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals into high quality metals for sale to the metal smelter industries. With decades of knowledge and expertise in metal extraction, QR Metals plays a vital role in conserving metal resources and minimising environmental impact through metal recycling.
CEMPR
CEMPR is a research and innovation division within BPG that researches to produce a low-carbon filler from incinerator bottom ash (IBA) that can replace cement in concrete production. The development of a more sustainable alternative to cement has huge environmental upsides for reducing the carbon footprint of the construction and infrastructure industries.
